Promoting project activities towards lifelong learning organisations, those interested in further education and the public. Preparation and implementation of the joint LLL programme – an interactive course in astronomy in Telč.
Project summary:
Masaryk University (MU) places great emphasis on the promotion and development of lifelong learning, is aware of the importance of further development of this area and therefore seeks to gain experience from foreign partners. As part of the project implementation, a platform will be created to exchange experience with Danube University in Krems (DUK), which focuses on adult education. There will be two meetings of representatives of partner countries at the DUK, namely executives at different levels of management and organisational staff dealing specifically with LLL. As part of the promotion of the project activities, lectures on astronomy will be given to further education students, lifelong learning organisations and the public in both countries. Those interested in further education in both countries are invited to a jointly prepared four-day interactive course to be piloted in Telč. The course will be bilingual and will serve as a model for future implementation of similar courses. An evaluation meeting of project partners will be held in Brno before the end of the project.
Co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
