Study rooms for self-study

Study rooms of the University of the Third Age are closed for the academic year 2020/2021 due to the pandemic.

 

Which study rooms are available to you?

The University of the Third Age at Masaryk University has two study rooms for U3A participants, namely at the Faculty of Social Studies and the Faculty of Education. An assistant is always in present in the study rooms. All U3A students can also visit the libraries of Masaryk University free of charge.

A computer room and a study room open to U3A participants is at the Faculty of Social Studies MU (underground floor). It is a pleasant place to read daily newspapers and magazines or to borrow books, encyclopaedias, dictionaries and popular educational publications that thematically correspond to the content of lectures. There are 4 computers with internet connection, a TV set with the DVD drive, and a data projector.

  • An assistant is always present in the study room.

  • Entry to the study room is only possible with a chip card.

At the Faculty of Education MU, participants in the University of the Third Age can visit the computer room free of charge. The study room is equipped with 15 computers.

  • An assistant is always available in the study room.

  • Entry to the study room is only possible with a chip card.
