Project objectives:

The aim of the project is to introduce the history and development of Czech sign language to the students and help them to understand the specific culture of deaf people.

Project summary:

The course implemented within the project is designed for seniors who come into contact with deaf people and want to learn the basics of the sign language. Emphasis will be placed primarily on practice. Participants will learn basic vocabulary needed for communication, the use of the two-handed alphabet, the correct hand positions and connecting signs into simple sentence units.
